READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE MOVING TO THE APPLICATION PAGE
This application needs to be completed in one sitting. You will NOT be able to save your work and return to it at a later time.
You will NOT be able to delete, change, or review any of the documents after uploading them or review the application after submitting it.
Be sure to have all of the following documents ready and available before starting the application process:

Transcripts of all your work in community college(s) and, if applicable, in any 4-year institutions. Unofficial transcripts are sufficient.

A current curriculum vitae/resume. Include any academic (or other) honors received, work experience, volunteer experience.

A document providing a response to EACH of the following questions. The FGSF Selection Committee will use your responses to assess your writing and your interest in completing your BA/BS degree.

​First-generation refers to students who are in the first generation within their families who will complete a BS or BA degree. The parents of first-generation students did not complete a BS/BA degree. Describe what makes you a first-generation student.

How would a FGSF Scholarship help you complete your degree?

Are there special circumstances that should be considered?

Discuss your career plans after you complete your BS or BA degree.
Note: In order to graduate in a timely manner you are expected to enroll as a full-time student.
For your Letter of Reference (LOR), contact a faculty member who will provide a letter and let him or her know that s/he will receive an email with a request to submit their letter (make sure they check their junk/spam folder, just in case). Next, click on the LOR Request button below and complete the form.
