Student loans, or money borrowed by students to help pay for tuition and other needs while in school, have increased annually by an average of $68.6 billion. In the US, student debt is the second largest type of household debt, after mortgages, and has prevented students from pursuing opportunities such as business ownership, home ownership, and family care.

First Generation Scholarship Fund was started to help students solve that "life-altering riddle": Avoid student loans. We ensure that our Scholars graduate from university debt-free by providing scholarships that cover their loan amount.
