Apply to Be a FGSF Scholar

Who can apply? Applicants who meet all of the following criteria:

Students whose parent(s) have not graduated from a 4-year university regardless of other family members’ level of education
Students transferring from a California Community College to Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Long Beach, Cal State Los Angeles, or Cal State Northridge
Students pursuing a bachelor's degree in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) discipline
Students who have completed all required first and second year courses in their major
Students who have an overall Community College GPA of at least 2.5
Students who qualify for in-state tuition in the California State University system

Complete an online application and a letter of reference (LOR) request form by clicking on the link below
Contact a faculty member to let him or her know that s/he will receive an email request from First Generation Scholarship Fund to submit a LOR on your behalf
