Scholar Celebration
This spring, FGSF Board Members, donors, campus partners, and Scholars gathered at Pasadena City College to celebrate a major milestone—FGSF's first scholarship graduate, Bianca Nava. It was an afternoon filled with joy, pride, and celebration as we honored Bianca's achievements and reflected on the impact of the First Generation Scholarship Fund in helping students achieve their dreams.

This fall, the FGSF community came together at Cal State LA to welcome our newest Scholars! Board Members, donors, and campus partners enjoyed an afternoon of connection and conversation with the incredible students who make up the 2025–27 FGSF Scholar cohort.
2024
Meet & Greet
In the fall of 2024, FGSF board members and supporters had a chance to meet the 2024-26 cohort of FGSF Scholars over a casual lunch on the CSULA campus. Scholars shared stories of their academic journeys and aspirations and filled us in on their activities during the first few weeks of the school year. “I loved meeting the Scholars,” said board member Susan Kane. “I am humbled and inspired by their life stories and their intense dedication as they pursue their college and career dreams.”
